Lost in translation 台灣把這劇翻譯做<<愛情，不用翻譯>>

總覺得兩個翻名都譯得不夠到位，但又想不到更好的翻譯。短短幾天的相處，Bob跟Scarlett 之間是愛情嗎？電影利用Bob跟酒吧女朗的逢場作戲作為對比，突顯Bob跟Scarlett之間單純的情感。

每個人也總會在某個時刻跟你從未預計過的人度過美好的時光，然後又得回到現實。

主題曲的音樂這麼輕快，竟填了這麼心酸的詞：

I can't lie on my bed without thinking I was wrong 我不能只躺在床上想著我犯的錯

But when this feeling calls this world becomes another 但每當這樣的心情浮現時，心中就變成了另一種小世界

Night time won't hold me in your arms again 夜晚也不會讓我在你的懷裡擁抱了

I got a very good friend who says he can't believe the love I give Is not enough to end your fears 好朋友說，他無法相信我所付出的愛，還不夠戰勝你的擔憂 

愛不愛、合不合適、要不要在一起，是三個獨立的問題。

在分離的時刻，如果你是Bob，在擁抱Scarlett那刻，你會在她耳邊說甚麼？

好喜歡Helena 在第一節最後的獨白中的這幾句，在愛情裡毫無理性，最沒原由的。

<<For ere Demetrius look'd on Hermia's eyne, He hail'd down oaths that he was only mine>>

嗯嗯，前幾天有人跟我說感覺這東西讓人摸不著頭腦呢，今天有明天沒有。

<<But herein mean I to enrich my pain,
To have his sight thither and back again.>>

明知更痛苦還去追求嗎？

這些文學作品，甚麼鬼英文，一路看一路跟莎士比亞的媽媽打招呼，劇情好吸引，後來直接找了兩遍中文譯本兩邊看，就發現翻譯真的很考學問。像”love looks not with the eyes, but with mind”，一個譯為「愛情不用眼睛辨別，而是用心靈來判斷」，另一個譯作「爱由心起，爱遮慧眼」，後者讓我想起看Lord of the rings 翻譯本時，突然出現「四面楚歌」，腦海的畫面突然出現扭曲了！笑死！

不過，這種翻譯挺好看的，像”So the boy Love is perjured every where”譯作「司愛情的小兒也到處賭著口不應心的咒」，譯文比原文更難理解！譯作「嘻玩打闹真真假假」跟原文無一字相應手，卻譯得很貼切呢！

還是大團圓結局最開心！
